Of course the finale of the series was going to be a close run affair, and so it turned out, as two ‘Team Deans’, Harry & Antony and Kodi and David, no relation to each other, both fired superb rounds of 37 to head the field.
The countback decision went the way of Harry and Antony, but only by a single shot, based on the back 9, as they both had 2 birdies coming home.
Therefore, Harry and Antony took the maximum Order or Merit Points, and with this being the Finale meant 1.5x the usual, which had a big effect on the final standings.
Kodi and David took the runner up place to add another impressive result to secure their place at the top of the overall table.
Elijah and Sam Gibbons claimed the final podium place on the day, as they came home with an impressive 34 points, including 2 birdies of their own, so deservedly took home a nice silver salver.
Parent/Junior Challenge Series Champions – Kodi & David Dean

Harry and Antony Dean came from down the table to jump into second place overall, with the 76 Finale points giving them a series total of 153 to finish as the runners up.
Darcy and Andrew Eaton who sat second going into the final event just slipped to third place, but held on to take the final overall trophy place to add a nice piece of silverware to the cabinet.
