The British Junior Golf Tour, a not-for-profit organisation, is the leading Junior Golf Tour in the UK.

We provide junior golfers with outstanding opportunities to experience great competitions, on wonderful courses, at top class venues.

Our events are fun, competitive, affordable and open to young golfers of all abilities, aged 5 up to 17 years.

Uk's leading Junior Golf Tour

9 and 18 holes – age and distance-related competitions

6 & Under, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 age groups; Gross scoring.

Age 10 and under – test yourself against your peer group over nine holes, on a shortened course (except 9-10 juniors, who play off red tees).
Age 11-12 – test yourself against your peer group over 18 holes, playing off red tees.
Age 13 and above – see Junior Open category

This format is a great opportunity to play to par, or better, and we are sure that you will love it!

Once younger players obtain a CONGU handicap, they can, if they choose, play in either their own age group competition or the full 18-hole Junior Open (Under 18) competition.

Mixed-gender competitions. Caddies allowed for all categories.

Standard 9-hole entry fees:
£14 for members, £17.50 for non-members

18 holes – handicap-qualifying gross and net competitions

Junior Open (Under 18): all juniors aged 13 and above will play off white (boys) or red (girls) tees, over 18 holes, in a Junior Open format.

Mixed-gender competitions.

Caddies optional for players aged 13 and above. A great opportunity to test yourself and play for either the Gross or Net trophies.

£20 for members, £25 for non-members

Order of Merit

In 2019, the British Junior Golf Tour Order of Merit will run from the first event, Sunday 24th Feb, through to the Tour Championship at Foxhills GC on Sunday 6th Oct.
Points will be awarded at each event listed on the BJGT schedule (except the Junior World Championships Qualifiers), up to and including the Tour Championship.
Trophies/Medals are awarded at all events in each category, and amazing OOM Prizes awarded at Foxhills GC.
