Another thoroughly enjoyable visit to Cumberwell Park, which included a Parent/Junior Texas Scramble Par 3 competition that gives parents the opportunity to prove that they can do what their children can do! Luca and Neil Randall took the honours with a fine -1 total of 26, ahead of Jack and Tony Lee & Sully and Paul Donald, who both shot level par rounds of 27 – very impressive! Alexander Leonard won nearest the pin on the 8th, the TPC Sawgrass replica island green; congratulations, Alex!

Junior Open Category

Satria Cumming made a winning return to the BJGT, and deservedly so, firing a fabulous 68 to win the Gross Division of the Junior Open category from a very impressive 12-year old newcomer, Toby Clark, just three shots back on his home course, with Alex Marshall taking third with 75.
Another Cumberwell Park junior, Laura Curtis, won the girls’ Gross Division with 78 and was followed by Sabrina Najib with 80.
Zizi-Mai Wilkins managed to stop Satria claiming a double win, as she came out on top of a 3-way countback after they, along with Jaxson Perry, carded matching 64s in the Net Division.

11-12 Age Group

Harry Burton (82) claimed the top spot in the 11-12 Division, ahead of Liliana Marshall (90) in second.

9-10 Age Group

Will Mannering ended Luca Randall’s winning streak in the 9-10 Division, as his round of 40 was enough for a 4-shot victory over Luca, with Riley Wood a single shot further back in third. Abigail Moore claimed the girls’ gold medal after carding 46, with Maisie Whittall second on 49.

7-8 Age Group

The 7-8 Division proved as competitive as ever: Dylan Barney separated the two Scottish Frasers at the top of the field, with Fraser Walters edging the win after another countback to split their matching 38s, and Jenson Ringer and Fraser Mackenzie finished just a single shot back in third.

6/Under Age Group

Sebastian Duffield (35) continued his domination of the 6 & Under Division with another win, this time from Ollie Roach (39) making his BJGT debut in second, with Marcus Karim (41) in third.
The BJGT now moves to Thorpe Hall for an affiliated event, which we know will be another roaring success.
