BJGT Education Focus in 2021
In the current lockdown climate, and in the age of home learning, we have set our intentions on providing a brand new and exclusive, holistic approach to developing our players and their parents.
Edge Golf College
Together with Edge Golf College, the BJGT is going to drive a new online, education webinar programme based on manageable, bitesize elements of their degree course, primarily for players aged 14+ (and parents of these players) who have aspirations of furthering their education within the golf sector and possibly moving on to professional golf.
FREE CAREER GUIDANCE WEBINAR
As promised, as part of our new collaboration with Edge Golf College, they are hosting a FREE Webinar on Career Guidance, as a taster to an online course (primarily for players aged 14+ and their parents) available only through the BJGT in 2021.
If your child has a desire to become a professional golfer or work within the golf sector later down the line, then this session is not to be missed, by you, or them!
Get a great insight into the reality of where you should be and what you need to be doing, with examples of those who are already on this pathway or who have made it to the top of the professional game.
Please Register Here and you will receive the Zoom link to join the session.
Neil Connolly, from the College, will be hosting the session at
6 pm on Friday, 15th January.
In the meantime, why not sit back and have a look at their video, and see why Edge Golf College is the perfect place for you to further your education around the game of golf.
Elite Performance Management
We then have a new collaboration with Elite Performance Management to cover all age divisions, providing educational webinars, fitness and nutrition advice, and player stats, as well as fun competitions and records of achievement. Elite Performance Management will also be attending some BJGT events this season.
The third new offering will be a series of parent/caddie education webinars, in conjunction with the Leadbetter Academy and Working With Parents in Sport, to make sure that everyone has a thoroughly enjoyable time at our events.
This is the first time that any junior organisation in the UK has offered such a comprehensive programme, aimed at a full range of junior golfers, and their parents, to enhance players' development while providing vital information on further education options.
Needless to say that everyone involved is very excited by the prospect of delivering this to you!
