Weather conditions started badly but brightened up by the afternoon.
The course was in great condition and the club provided a very warm welcome for our first visit.
Manato Nakatani shot the lowest round of the day with a solid 77 ahead of Huw Pearson and Alex Doig following matching 79’s.
Mark Stockdale fired a superb Net 60 (Gross 80) to comfortably win the Net Division.
Waraporn Wimonwan showed the boys how it’s done, on her BJGT debut, in the 9-10 Division with her 47 good enough to edge out Billy Wood and Jakob Venables who both carded 48’s.
Jakob Payne secured the 7-8 Division with a round of 45, from William Brennan (48) another BJGT debutante, with Michael Haywood a hot further back in third.
A superb group of 6&Under players contested the youngest division but Dylan Barney edged out Henry Saddleton at the top by a single shot having shot 41 and 42 respectively in a great head to head duel, with Thomas James in 3rd in his first BJGT event.
All the players deserve huge congratulations for putting on a great show and it was fantastic to see lots of new players.
