The BJGT are delighted to be hosting two fantastic and diverse events over the next two weekends, before the season of Junior Opens and Junior World Championship regional qualifiers begins.
First up is the Fathers Day Family Foursomes, on the 18th June, which promises to be a fun format with adults and juniors playing alternate shots.
We’re hoping this becomes a regular fixture in the calendar to give parents the opportunity to play with their children, although we have reminded the juniors not to be too hard on their partners as they will be trying their best!
The following weekend, the 25th June, the BJGT run the only junior qualifier for the Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship at the magnificent Nailcote Hall.
We have 54 players competing in 4 age groups for individual category honours plus the overall prize for the lowest gross score on the day, who will claim the Junior Par 3 Champion title and a place in the Pro-Am of the British Par 3 Championship.
It really is a ‘money can’t buy’ prize and an amazing opportunity to experience playing with a professional in front of a large gallery and the TV cameras.
